West Mugirango MP Hon. Steve Mogaka has written a letter to the cabinet secretary for Internal and National Administration Professor Kithure Kindiki over cases of insecurity within his constituency.

Hon Steve claimed that most markets within his constituency have been affected by the cases of insecurity. While taking to his official Facebook page he claimed that Kebirigo market in Bonyamatuta ward has been the most affected with people losing their lives from attacks by unknown people.
“Owing to the rising crime rates in our great constituency, I have this morning written to the Cabinet Secretary [C.S] for the Ministry of Internal and National Administration Prof.Kithure Kindiki to sort out the vice once and for all before it gets out of hand.
Our Market centres are worst hit where we have lost lives, properties and some residents left with life-threatening injuries.
Kebirigo Market in Bonyamatuta ward, Nyamaiya Market in Nyamaiya ward and Mosobeti in Bosamaro ward have been on the receiving end of the wave of thuggery.
This will be no more under my administration!” Steve posted.

He further added that in a recent incident, a couple was brutally killed while they were on their way home from the market, and another businessman was attacked as he was closing his shop where he was clobbered and lost an unknown amount of money to the criminals who are said to be terrorizing residents with guns.
The first-time member of parliament has assured his constituents that under his leadership he will ensure security is beefed up in the areas affected and those who are terrorizing people will be brought to book soon.
